The Bonn Marriott Hotel, an international 4-star hotel, is located in the center of the former government district of the Federal Republic of Germany, right next to the Rhine. Excavation finds of the Roman settlement Vicus Bonnensis have been integrated in the basement which is part of the spa area.
Right after its opening this exceptional historical locale without daylight (!) was to be converted into a unique atmosphere in which guests would feel comfortable, even without a view onto the outside periphery.
